Dustin allman, Pastor
Dustin joined The Fort as full-time pastor in 2012, and God has blessed the ministry in the most astounding ways. The church was a few short months from shutting the doors and disbanding. God has mercifully breathed new life into the new ministry!
Dustin is on the Executive Team for the Sullivan Baptist Association and se. He proudly served as FCA coach/chaplain for area high school football teams and continues to be involved in community sports as part of his mission field where he lives, works and plays. An avid reader and writer, he has also written articles for nationally distributed magazines and publications.
Dustin has a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Biblical Studies, Church Ministries and Sports Management from Liberty University. He's completed additional work at Southern Seminary and Carson Newman. Before his pastoral role at The Fort, he previously served on ministry staffs in Charlottesville, VA and Burlington, NC.
Dustin’s deepest roots are in North Carolina, but he doesn’t hesitate to call East Tennessee home. He is married to his middle school crush, Amanda, and together they have adopted two sons -- Wrigley & Ryman. He believes family is his number one ministry, and he loves being a husband and dad. He enjoys coaching his sons' sports teams, reading, disc golf and watching sports on TV or in-person... especially the North Carolina Tar Heels & Chicago Cubs!
